Getting to know me –

I’m a native Houstonian and completed my undergraduate training at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. I earned my master’s degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston and completed my predoctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine. My training includes work in a range of Houston-based hospitals and clinics, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Houston Area Women’s Center, DePelchin Children’s Center, and the Neuropsychiatric Center at Ben Taub Hospital.

In my practice, I tailor therapy to each client’s needs. My style is flexible, warm, and present-focused, with an emphasis on meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches shown to help people improve their lives, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. I also incorporate mindfulness- and acceptance-based techniques to help clients get unstuck from patterns that interfere with living a full, meaningful life. This approach supports emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and lasting change.

Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, knitting, and traveling with my husband and children.
